The iBihar.in "Verified" badge is a symbol of trust and authenticity. This document outlines the terms and conditions for obtaining and maintaining a verified status for your business listing on our platform.

1. Purpose of Verification

The verification process is designed to confirm that a business listing is legitimate and is being managed by its true owner or an authorized representative. A verified badge helps users identify authentic businesses, increasing trust and confidence in your listing.

2. Eligibility and Required Documents

To be eligible for verification, you must be the owner or an authorized manager of the business. You will be required to submit one or more of the following documents for our review:

• GST Registration Certificate
• Shop & Establishment License
• Udyog Aadhar / MSME Registration Certificate
• A utility bill (electricity, water, etc.) in the business's name and at the listed address.
• Other official government-issued documents that prove the existence and ownership of the business.

All submitted documents must be clear, legible, and current. We reserve the right to request additional information if needed.

3. The Verification Process

After you submit your claim and documents through the "Claim this Business" feature, our team will review the information. This process typically takes 3-5 business days. We will check the authenticity of the documents and ensure the information matches the details on your business listing.

4. Benefits of Verification

Once your business is verified, you will receive:

• A prominent "Verified" badge on your business card and profile page.
• Increased visibility and trust from potential customers.
• The ability to download a digital "Certificate of Verification" from your dashboard.
• Priority placement in certain search results over unverified businesses.

5. Maintaining Verified Status

Your verified status is contingent upon maintaining accurate and up-to-date information on your listing. We reserve the right to revoke the verified badge at any time if we find that the listing contains false information, violates our Terms and Conditions, or if we receive multiple, credible complaints from users.

The "Verified" badge indicates that we have made a reasonable effort to confirm the identity of the business owner and the legitimacy of the business based on the documents provided. It is not a guarantee or endorsement of the quality of the business's services or products. Users should still exercise their own judgment when interacting with any business listed on the site.
